I taught history at Bellevue Comm. Coll. and then moved on to teach in the education dept. at Western Wash. Univ. During this time I was commercial fishing and diving in Alaska (summer months) and decided that I wanted to relocate there to teach and coach in the public schools. I taught both social studies and special ed. throughout my career. I coached three different sports and four of the teams that I coached won state championships.

My wife and I enjoy gardening and traveling. We keep season tickets to the Seattle Seahawks and get to a few Seattle Mariners games each year. I enjoy fishing and hope to get out much more this year. I still spend quite a bit of time in the public schools and still enjoy being around kids. I see my sister a few times a week and we are as close as ever. My son and his wife just had their first child and I'm having fun being grandpa.

Nothing dramatic here. I just want those I care about to remain healthy and happy

I felt very safe growing up in Needham. Those were simpler times and I don't think we thought much about dangers.

Some of my fondest memories were of sneaking out my window at night and walking around the streets of town at night with Jeff Rowe , Bobby Miller and John Kelly- especially when it was snowing.

Finally becoming a junior so we didn't have to be at the bottom of the food chain any longer. I enjoyed sock hops and sports nights and I enjoyed representing our school in sports activities.
